In this elegant scroll, Zhao transcribed Laozi’s foundational Daoist text with refined brushwork, harmonious rhythm, and serene composure – exemplifying his belief that calligraphy should embody both technical mastery and spiritual grace. His style blended elements from earlier masters like Wang Xizhi and Yan Zhenqing, creating a fluid yet disciplined aesthetic that deeply influenced later generations.
