Scholar Hu Zhao declined summons from Yuan Shao and Cao Cao. Respecting his wish for seclusion, Cao Cao let him retreat to Luhu Mountain. He farmed, immersed himself in classics, and peacefully passed away at eighty-nine in his old home.
