One of Yingchuan’s renowned “Eight Dragons”, Xun Jing secluded himself to study and upheld rituals. Unlike his brilliant official brother Xun Shuang, he possessed reserved inner virtue. He rejected official summons, and scholars and local officials honored him greatly after his death.
