Caigentan 111. Public justice vs. corrupt networks

Never transgress against public opinion which is in line with righteousness; to do so is to bring everlasting shame on oneself.

Do not set foot in places where power is wielded for private gain; to do so is to sully yourself for life.

公平正论不可犯手,一犯则贻羞万世;权门私窦不可著脚,一著则沾污终身。

Notes

  • Do not violate public justice and moral principles;
  • Do not tread the backdoor dealings of the powerful.

Backdoor dealings are not mere networking, but trading integrity for expediency — using connections to bypass rules, suppress rivals, or gain illicit advantage. These “shortcuts” are venomous paths paved with compromised principles.

A noble person’s unsullied honor holds more weight than worldly gains; integrity outshines opportunistic paths.
